At Central Texas Gastroenterology our staff strives to offer support services in an efficient and cost conscious manner to make your experience with us as easy and stress-free as possible.  If you have questions concerning our practice, please feel free to call our office at 979-776-4600.

GENERAL INFORMATION

We currently have two locations at which we are able to consult with our patients.  Our endoscopy center is located within our Bryan location.  Our physicians are able to also provide services at our local hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, College Station Medical Center and The Physicians Centre.

APPOINTMENTS

We see patients by appointment only. Please make elective appointments several weeks in advance so that we may give you a time that best fits your schedule. We require at least 24 hour notification if you cannot keep a scheduled appointment. Prior to your office visit please complete our patient registration forms and return them to our office by mail or fax if time allows or bring them with you on the day of your appointment.  We will scan a copy of your insurance card and drivers license at the time of your visit.  If your insurance requires a referral from your primary care, please obtain this prior to your visit.
A 24 hour notification is required if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment, no-shows or failure to give 24 hour notice of appointment cancellation will result in a $25.00 fee charged to your account.

EMERGENCIES

FOR IMMEDIATE LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES:  CALL 911.
In emergent situations, we will make every effort to give you the earliest appointment available. Emergency questions are referred to your provider and answered immediately.  If you have an emergency after our normal business hours please contact us at 979-776-4600 and a gastroenterologist will be contacted.

PAYMENT

PAYMENT IS DUE AT THE TIME SERVICES ARE RENDERED.
Patient payment responsibility includes deductibles, copayments, non-covered services, coinsurance and items considered “not medically necessary” by your insurance company.  If you do not carry health insurance payment in full is due and expected at the time of service.  If you have a question about payment arrangements, please contact our billing office.

INSURANCE

We accept most insurance carriers and please note that periodic changes to our contracted health plans can occur. Please inquire with our business office at 979-776-4600 about your individual carrier and policy.  Our office will make every attempt to submit insurance claims for you.

QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS

Please ask to speak with a nurse or medical assistant if you are uncomfortable discussing your problem with the receptionist. Our nurses and medical assistants have been trained to answer most of your health and treatment questions. If they are unable to do so, your questions will be referred to your provider and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your treatment at Central Texas Gastroenterology Consultants, please make us aware of the situation. We welcome suggestions to improve the delivery of your health care.
